Quiet, deliberate, built for recovery.
Yutori is a Japanese word — roughly, the space you leave on purpose. Room to breathe. Time to think. The building runs on that idea. Recovery isn't somewhere you drive to; it's downstairs: cold plunge, infrared sauna, red-light therapy, a performance gym, a yoga sala. The layouts are deliberately larger than most of Bacalar, because a slower rhythm needs room to happen. And the lagoon is a minute away, not a marketing photo. Most projects treat wellness as a feature. Here it's the floor plan.
Architecture
Green areas and coworking integrated into daily use, not an afterthought
The design borrows from Japanese spatial thinking without turning into a theme. Natural light first. Indoor and outdoor flowing into each other — terraces, sliding screens, courtyards open to the jungle. Stone, wood, and pale stucco: materials that age instead of dating. Every residence is drawn to feel larger than its footprint, letting light and airflow do the work. Penthouses add a private plunge pool and rooftop; at the top of the building, an infinity pool over the lagoon. Built to be lived in slowly, not photographed once.
